Vishwaroopam crosses 100 Cr mark in India

Kamal Haasan's magnum opus Vishwaroopamhas collected over a 100 crores in the box office and is still counting. The film has Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose, Andrea Jeremiah and Shekhar Kapur in supporting roles. Kamal Haasan's spy-thriller Vishwaroopam finally released in the theaters across Tamil Nadu last week, 13 days after its worldwide release on Jan 25th.

Rahul Bose tweeted "Just received figures of the all india box office collections of vishwaroopam. 120 crores and counting. Superb! Vishwaroopam's the first film I've been a part of that's made over 100 crores. Congratulatuions to the team and mr haasan especially!"

Produced simultaneously in Hindi as Vishwaroop , the film features soundtrack composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, with lyrics by Vairamuthu and Haasan himself while Javed Akhtar translated them for the Hindi version. Actor and director Kamal Haasan has said that his next production Vishwaroopam-2 will be released this year.
